Scotland can still qualify for next summer’s U21 Euros, but they face a tough test in Holland, who are looking to keep the pressure on England at the top of the group.
The young Scots travel to Holland a point behind the Dutch side, who are fresh off of holding group leaders England to a 0-0 draw last week.
While the hosts still occupy the play-off spot in second, Scotland came out victorious in the last meeting between the two sides last September, goals from Oliver Burke and Stevie Mallan led to Hollands only defeat in the qualifiers so far.
Scot Gemmill’s side come into the game in winning form after defeating Andorra 3-0 at Tynecastle on Thursday, with striker Fraser Hornby scoring a hat-trick and in fine form for tonights clash.
However, it will be a stern test for the young Scots, with Holland undefeated in their last four qualifiers and looking to build on a positive result with England.
Scotland on the other hand, will be looking to do the double over the Dutch outfit and seek to continue the winning mentality.
Kick off is 5.30pm UK time at the De Vijverberg Stadium in Doetinchem.
