LADBROKES League One is proving a popular setting for teams in the Premiership to put their young prodigies as they look to see them develop and learn their trade.
Celtic, St Johnstone, Rangers, Partick Thistle, Hearts and Kilmarnock all have players in the league looking to get first team experience.
In what has been a busy window so far for teams in League One, Queens Park are the only team not to make a signing in January.
Former Morton winger Stefan McCluskey has joined Alloa Athletic, despite having been rumoured to be on the radar of Championship outfit St Mirren.
And 20-year-old Scottish striker Jack McKay will play for Airdrieonians for the rest of the season after signing on loan from his parent club Leeds United.
One–time Hamilton midfielder Nicki Paterson has joined East Fife until at least the end of the season after spending a year playing for North American Soccer League team Indy Eleven.
