Looking to make his name in the Scottish sports Journalism industry is 20 year-old Giuseppe Taouss – Glasgow born and raised but beneath the surface a hard working young writer with heritage from around the world.
After a life changing trip to Uganda in 2018, Giuseppe realised that hard graft was what was going to help him achieve his dream of becoming immersed in the world of sports media, following in the footsteps of his idol – Clyde 1’s Gordon Duncan.
Giuseppe hopes that he can use his Moroccan and Italian roots to help pave the way for a more diverse industry in the future, inspiring any fellow budding creators along the way.
A Celtic enthusiast by trade, Giuseppe knows the Scottish game inside out, how it lives and breathes as he hopes to become a household name across the country, debating the game’s biggest issues with the biggest names in the business.
“Gordon Duncan is the youngest presenter around, to be in his early 30’s and going shoulder to shoulder with big personalities like Hugh Keevins and Roger Hannah is amazing.
“He came to UWS too, so it just shows you that the opportunities are there for you.
“If i’m being honest, he is a role model for me and someone that I look up too.
“I’m proud of where I come from, you don’t really see names like Giuseppe Taouss associated with articles so hopefully I can change that.
“Hopefully it gives me a different edge going forward.”
