A nation-wide lock down has disrupted the flow of many industries. Specially the entrainment industry. Entrainment in a broad sense refers to a film’s, music, tv shows etc and the lock down means the shouting down of these businesses as well.
Television shows, films etc are to be shoot on a regular basis in-order for people to be entrained! But if these industries are not functionable to work then what is the source of entrainment for people? Many of these shows are airing re-runs to order to entrain its audience and keep them updated by not airing a new episode previously shot right away https://www.denofgeek.com/tv/supergirl-batwoman-episodes-air-date-delayed/. Keeping the audience anticipated for a new episode based on the circumstances

Its not just the audience that are affected by the lock down but also the people working or looking for work in these industries. The lock down has caused disappointment to many as work placements in media organisations have been called of or postponed due to the lock down. Gordon Maccolm an MA broadcast Journalism student who was offered a work placement at the BBC was postponed, and though Gordon understands the situation he’s in an industry where people get to know you by the work you do and you build contacts through such work experiences. Which in current situations is a problem.
“The industry I am going into you get by, by people knowing you and if you done have the right placement for people to get to know you and for you to get to know them it becomes more and more challenging”
Apart form the television and radio industries being affected by the lock down, the music business from the entrainment industry is one that has taken a huge blow with the current situation with parties and concerts being postponed or cancelled, disk jockeys and bands have no place to perform, taking them away from their main source of income. Also as many music companies are a celebrative firms it is quite difficult for them to function. Alex Adair a Scottish singer song writer and a PR and Marketing person for oracular sound talks about the given situation with in the music industry.
Giving the current situation with in the entertainment industry it is likely to say that the industry will suffer a huge loss once the situation is back to normal as many shoot schedules and will have to be altered, which means the postponement of the releases of many films and tv shows and refunding of altered pre-booked tickets from cinema halls etc.
