What to look for when shopping at the markets?
Christmas is just around the corner. If you are falling behind with your Christmas shopping or you are just looking to enjoy a nice cozy evening, the St. Enoch Square Christmas markets could be your place.
For all the foodies, you can find a range of international cuisine. Mexican, Chinese and German are just a few of the many options you could choose from.
The newest addition to this year’s markets are the two new German chalets, where you can find beer and mulled wine, and the German food stall in the shape of a windmill welcoming you at the entrance, where you can enjoy a traditional German wurst and potatoes.
If you are looking for something sweet, then you can indulge in all sorts of fudge, pick and mix sweets, sweet popcorn and the star of the show this year- the stall offering churros, waffles and crepes.
However, if your aim is to find presents for your loved ones, make sure you stop by the gifts and toys stands. There, you will find a range of handcrafted jewelry, traditional Scottish souvenirs, toys and Christmas decorations.
Apart from the food, drinks and presents, the St. Enoch Christmas Markets have prepared plenty of events for their younger visitors, such as: face painting and Hartbeeps sessions.
The markets started earlier this month and will be awaiting you until 23 of December.
