New cancer tests being conducted by the Glasgow Precision Oncology Laboratory could further cancer patients chances of receiving the latest clinical trials. This could open patients to the correct treatment and further chances of finding what makes cancer resistant to chemotherapy and the drugs used in treatment. UWS News spoke with Andrew Biankin, the regius professor of surgery at the University of Glasgow and director of the GPOL, alongside one of his patients who has benefitted from the new trials at the NCRI Cancer Conference in Glasgow.
