Ayr racecourse is set to host seven races kicking off at 12.10pm today.
Featuring the likes of Henry Brooke, Brian Harding and Derek Fox, the race day is set to begin with a novices’ Hurdle over twenty furlongs.
Head of Ayr Racecourse’s PR Iain Ferguson, said: “Some top jockeys here are Tom Scudamore, Brian Hughes and Henry Brooke.”
Iain believes the money is likely to be on Hughes, due to his three wins at Kelso yesterday: “I would think Hughes will bring the money. He won three races yesterday at Kelso.”
Iain also said Spanish Fleet will rack up support for Hughes.
The feature race, starting at 2.50pm is the Racinguk.com Chase over two miles and five furlongs.
The event concludes with the Racing UK HD Intermediate Open national Hunt Flat race at 3.20pm.
The racecourse, having covered tracks since Saturday, has heeded icy weather conditions. The racecourse has been dry since Saturday. Weather conditions are set to be dry, with sunny spells and temperatures around -3c.
