Food prices are set to rise in the coming months as inflation leapt to 2.3% this month, the highest level since September 2013.  This comes at a time when wage growth has seen a decline, leaving households in a worse off position.  Ayrshire residents outlined how they will be affected by the double dunt of a dip in earnings and a hike in food costs.  The local manager at Morrisons in Ayr explained how they are trying to combat the price rises for their shoppers.
