Porteous & Naismith out long-term

By Lewis McLeod Youngster Ryan Porteous and Loanee Jason Naismith have been ruled out for long periods of time. Porteous picked up his knock after going into a tough slide tackle against Dundee United. The young centre half has had his career plagued by injury and this is just another set back he will look to overcome. Fans hope Stephen Robinson will remain at the ‘Well

By Ben MacDonald and Campbell Finlayson  Motherwell manager Stephen Robinson would be a huge loss if he were to depart the club to join one of the Edinburgh sides, according to Andy Ross. The Northern Irishman has been heavily linked  with the vacant Hearts post, as well as the same position at their city neighbours’ Hibs, following the departures of Craig Levein  and Paul Heckingbottom  respectively, earlier this week.
