The show racism the red card campaign is celebrating its tenth anniversary with today’s Wear Red Day.
The charity works on fighting discrimination at any level in sport and importantly educating anti-racism throughout schools in the UK. 2024 marks ten years of the Wear Red day and over 700,000 participants have signed up today to show their support and help to raise money for the cause. The charities aim is to have 1 million participants next year and thee journey to raising awareness for that starts now.

Kaela McDonald – Nguah is a women’s footballer for Gartcarin FC and is a campaigner for SRTRC in Scotland. She said: “It’s great that this weekend were going to have all the professional teams in Scotland holding up the red card to racism, but its important to know that we do this all year round and we need to keep fighting and campaigning all the time if we want to see real change.”
