After the amber weather alert issued by the BBC many where waiting for snow to make its first appearance this year.

If you live in rural Scotland, you probably know it has been snowing in most of Scotland since yesterday evening. By the looks of it, Scots are pretty excited about it.

Some are taking the opportunity to call out people who take to twitter as soon as the first snow flake falls.

All in all, snow is once again mentally preparing us for Christmas and creating a rather cheery atmosphere.
