LOOKING back to 2020, postal votes made a big difference in battleground states as results in which Republican candidate Donald Trump was leading were flipped when the votes were counted.
The dramatic turn when the mail-in votes were counted meant Democrat candidate Joe Biden came out on top something that was referred to as a Red Mirage, Blue Shift.
Postal voting appears to be an approach Democrat voters are more likely to use while Trump has actively encouraged his supporters to vote in person.
And it is this approach to voting which saw some red states turn blue and not voter fraud, which was suggested by Trump and his supporters.

As Democrat voters are more likely to vote through provisionally, there may still be a chance to see a blue shift come into play again this election.
Only when all the votes are counted will the impact be known.
