Calls for research to be carried out to establish the links between heading a football and dementia are growing following the announcement that Celtic and Scotland legend, Billy McNeil, has been suffering the disease.

Experts, fans, and charities alike urge the findings to be made in order to help prevention of dementia for generations to come.
